An overwhelmingly welcoming school that celebrates its diversity, Webster Stanley Elementary is home to great students, dedicated staff, and caring families with a commitment to service learning and the achievement of high academic standards.
Webster Stanley offers a variety of academic and co-curricular activities before, during, and after school, including an Ice Skating Club, Kiwanis K-Kids, Garden Club, and a Lighted Schoolhouse program. The PreK-8 campus, which includes Webster Stanley Middle School, offers excellent technology and media facilities, a double-size gym, and a wonderful auditorium. The school’s AGR program (Achievement Gap Reduction) reduced class sizes, rigorous curriculum, family involvement, and staff professional development standards.
The staff are leaders in the district with the use of best practices, innovative programs and their desire to do “what’s best for kids.” Webster Stanley was named a Wisconsin Promise School of Recognition eight times since its inception in 2003 with the most recent recognition being awarded for the 2013-14 school year. Additionally, the Wisconsin Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS) Network recognized Webster Stanley as a School of Merit. Webster Stanley Elementary is the first Oshkosh Area School to achieve this accomplishment.
As part of the state accountability system, the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) produces report cards for every district and school in Wisconsin. The School Report Card, using multiple measures of student learning, is based on data primarily from the previous school year. Please see our school's latest DPI School Report Card below.
